Robin Eisgrau has been writing about music, film, art, theater, food and fashion for many years. She has held editorial positions at Paper Magazine, Seventeen, Time Out New York, Net Magazine, Alternative Press and CMJ New Music Report.
She co-authored Name, Rank, Rock and Roll: Famous Musicians Who Served in The Military alongside Richard John Cummins. Robin also sings, plays guitar and writes songs alongside Richard in the band Soon.
Her bylined articles have been published in The New York Post, The Village Voice, The Aquarian, Sky Magazine UK, Interview, The Boston Phoenix and the cultural website offoffoff.com. She is a contributor to the Trouser Press Guide to 90s Rock. Robin also writes two blogs: Plate Envy, about food and related topics, and Focus and Temper, where she discusses music and personal reflections.
A native New Yorker and a passionate music fan since she saw Modern English at The Ritz at age 14, Robin has owned a pair of blue suede shoes and a raspberry beret.
