Teddie Dahlin was born in Norway and graduated from Institut før Høgre Marknadsføring IHM Business School in Gothenburg, Sweden with a degree in International Marketing and Ecconomics in 1987. She has worked as a freelance music journalist for several magazines in the UK, most notably Vive le Rock and has written 5 published books.

Dahlin incorporated New Haven Publishing Ltd in 2012 and has been its owner and company director ever since. She also owns Phoenix Press Ltd, publishing kids books, Viking Press Comics and New Haven Publishing US LLC, as a presence in the United States, with offices in Boston, MA. She splits her time between Oslo, where she lives with her husband, three children and her pet, Happy the pomerainian, and the UK and USA.
